Sculptural Conceptions / Ceramics invites you to a lecture by Angela Koch.

Angela Koch is a professor of aesthetics and pragmatics of audiovisual media at the University of Arts Linz. She heads the Co.Lab Memory Work • Aesthetic-Political Practices. Currently, her research focuses on the aesthetics of Nazi remembrance culture. In this context, she organized and edited the proceedings of the conferences “Grey in Grey: Aesthetic-Political Practices of Remembrance Culture” (2017) and “Nazi History in the Gutter: Comics as a Medium of Remembrance” (2023) (in collaboration with the Learning and Memorial Site Schloss Hartheim). Together with Birgit Kirchmayr (JKU Linz), Wildtrud Hackl (University of Arts Linz), and students, she curated the exhibition “Across a Bridge – Walking / Driving / Writing / Researching / Speaking / Debating”, which was presented at the University of Arts Linz in 2024/2025.
