Angesichts der schweren Angriffe der Hamas auf Israel sowie der grausamen Geiselnahmen von Zivilist*innen hat die Kunstuniversität Linz ihren Partneruniversitäten in Jerusalem und Holon, der Bezabel Academy of Arts and Design sowie dem Holon Institute of Technology, ihre Bestürzung und tief empfundene Anteilnahme über das unendliche Leid für die israelische Bevölkerung ausgedrückt. Unser Mitgefühl und unsere Solidarität gilt in diesen schweren Stunden und Tagen den Opfern von Gewalt und Terror. Zudem hat die Kunstuniversität Linz ihren Partneruniversitäten sowie den Universitätsangehörigen Unterstützung angeboten, die man als Universität leisten kann. Über entsprechende Hilfsmaßnahmen informieren wir demnächst.

Seeing the serious attacks by Hamas on Israel and the civilian hostages who have been cruelly seized, the University of Arts Linz expresses its dismay and deep condolences on the enormous suffering of the Israeli population to its partner universities in Jerusalem and Holon, the Bezabel Academy of Arts and Design and the Holon Institute of Technology. In these difficult hours and days, our sympathy and solidarity goes out to the victims of violence and terror. The University of Arts Linz has also offered its partner universities all the support we as university are able to provide. Soon, we will give an update on our related relief measures.
