Co.Lab Mycelial Space

At the intersection of artistic, scientific, and practice-based research approaches, the Co.Lab Mycelial Space takes fungi as a starting point for an open-ended exploration of relational, non-binary, and horizontal concepts of art and knowledge production. Inspired by the workings of mycelial networks, this exploration is grounded in the ideas of mutual support, shared responsibility, and a culture of care.

Through collaboration with experts from diverse disciplines and practical fields, the Co.Lab Mycelial Space fosters synergies and co-creative processes across a variety of formats—workshops, exhibitions, conferences, field trips, and more—making a broad spectrum of sustainable futures tangible. By engaging artistic research and accessible educational practices, the project invites critical reflection on established knowledge systems and societal values, nurturing mutual learning and shared engagement.
