Lückenfüller (literally ‘gap filler’ in German) serves as the theme of this exhibit. Thirty Austrian jewelry artists present their interpretations of what it means to fill a gap. Through contemporary jewelry, they transform absence into presence and invite visitors to reflect on what lies in between. A supporting event at the ACFNY explores Austrian art jewelry and includes the presentation of the exhibition catalogue.
