Admission for the winter semester 2024

An entrance examination must be passed for admission to the degree program. Registration for the entrance examination and enrolment are handled by the University of Art and Design Linz.

Register online for the entrance examination

You can register for the entrance examination via the application system of the University of Art and Design Linz.
You can apply here from March 20, 2024 . 

Submit the application documents in the application system, consisting of

• Letter of motivation
• (if available) selected work samples (optional e.g. pre-scientific work, radio contribution, video, blog, journalistic contribution, artistic work samples, project documentation)
• curriculum vitae
• Copy of school leaving certificate or equivalent proof (for BA-KUWI valid university entrance qualification examination)*
• Proof of German language skills at level B2
• Independent examination of the topic "Babel"
  Applicants are free to choose the form in which they work on the topic "Babel". However, care should be taken to ensure that the work can also be presented online. We request no more than 10 pages for written submissions. Audiovisual contributions, e.g. videos, should not be longer than 10 minutes. Videos can be uploaded to a suitable platform and linked in the application documents.
