Honorary Mention for "DreamAtlas"

Campus Award 2025

In this year’s second edition of the Campus Award, which rewards outstanding projects presented within the Campus exhibition, Interface Cultures students Emma Silvana Tripaldi, Ahmed Jamal, and Till Schönwetter received an honorary mention with their project “DreamAtlas.

DreamAtlas, shown during the Ars Electronica festival at the Interface Cultures exhibition at Post City, is a growing map of shared dreams driven by algorithmic analysis. Visitors can contribute personal dream fragments to a collective dream diary, which are then categorized with artificial intelligence to form visual constellations of shared symbols, themes, and emotions.

The art installation featured a nifty telescope interface to guide users through the universe, thereby transforming subconscious exploration into a communal experience. The web version of the diary is still running, interested people are invited to check it out and participate
