The Forum Baukultur uses the 33rd Townscape Fair to engage in conversation with visitors, especially the mayors, using playful methods.
In 2024, the Forum Baukultur used the Ortsbildmesse in Wolfern to present itself to the public for the first time. Students from the University of Arts Linz designed and produced a stand especially for this purpose.
This year's contribution to the Ortsbildmesse was conceived and implemented jointly by the University of Arts Linz, the Catholic Private University Linz, the Chamber of Civil Engineers Upper Austria and Salzburg, the Central Association of Architects, architekturforum oö (afo), the Province of Upper Austria / Department of Spatial Planning, the Federal Monuments Office, Regional Management Upper Austria and Business Upper Austria.
Based on the children's game of temple hopping, questions are posed about the various aspects of the federal building culture guidelines. Among other things, areas of townscape design, vacancy utilization, participation, monument preservation and much more will be discussed. Representatives of the institutions involved in the Baukultur Forum will be available to answer questions.
The Forum Baukultur will also present the projects nominated for the BHP'24.
