Exhibition co-organized in Linz (Austria) by Ecole des Arts Déco-PSL, University of the Arts Linz, Johannes Kepler University and the Swedish school of Textiles in the framework of the SOFTWEAR project as satellite event of EuroEAP.
“When Soft Actuators Meet Textiles” is an initiative of the SOFTWEAR doctoral network organised in cooperation with the University of Arts Linz. Researchers, artists, designers and engineers have been invited to present their work at the intersection of soft actuators, wearables and textiles, aiming to foster an interdisciplinary arts–sciences dialogue on the topic. The occasion to discover about 16 exciting proposals where actuators soften and textiles acquire a behaviour.
