• current residence registration (Meldezettel)
• record of studies (Studienblatt)
• confirmation of study administrator (please find forms in the download on the right)

DECISION CRITERIA FOR THE INTERNAL ALLOCATION 

We consider applicants’ first choice wherever possible. If several applicants apply for the same place, decisions are based in particular on:

• fulfilment of the general requirements
• completeness and accuracy of application documents
• previous Erasmus or other stays abroad
• academic progress in the current study cycle
• required language skills
• specific motivation for the application
• for exchanges arranged directly between academic disciplines/departments, the responsible professor makes the decision

Ranking in the selection process:

• Applicants are ranked higher if they meet the requirements, submit complete and correct documents, have no or few prior stays abroad, and meet the required language level or come as close as possible.
• For these reasons, allocation may also be to the second- or third-choice partner university.

Final decision:

• The partner university makes the final offer or rejection once its application process is complete
