Requirements

• Regular students who are enrolled at the University of Arts  Linz (not course students)
• 2 completed semesters
• the stay is only possible at a host university with which the university has an inter-institutional agreement
• knowledge of the language of instruction at the host university or a good command of English
• Mobility can only be carried out in a country that is not the country of residence during the course of study (submission of a current  confirmation of registration from the Central Register of Residents)
• Mobility to the country of origin has the lowest priority
• The mobility grant is only paid for the period of physical presence at the host institution

IMPORTANT:

Minimum study performance for Erasmus+ funding: Recognition of 3 ECTS per month abroad. If all or most of the ECTS have been completed according to the curriculum, it is possible to apply for a stay abroad as part of the preparation for academic/artistic final work (Bachelor's, Master's, diploma thesis, dissertation).

Students on leave of absence cannot participate in the exchange programmes!

An extension of the stay is only possible from the winter semester to the summer semester and is dependent on the approval of the host university as well as the budget.

If the bilateral agreement exists between two degree programmes, the sending students are nominated for the exchange by their degree programme.

The final confirmation of a study place is made by the partner university!
 

Possible duration of stays

• 2 months to a maximum of 12 months in Bachelor, Master, Doctorate/PhD programmes
• 24 months in diploma programmes (12 months in the 1st phase / 12 months in the 2nd phase)
• Multiple stays are possible - different types of mobility can be combined and are counted together per cycle (graduate internships count towards the funding period of the previous study cycle)
