Interface Cultures Studierender, Ghazal Hossein, nimmt mit seiner Arbeit “Feel.Back.Loop” als Austauschstudent im Bereich „Interface Cultures“ an der Ausstellung des IAMAS Open House 2026 teil.
It is an interactive robotic artwork exploring the co-evolution of humans and intelligent systems through embodied AI. Taking the form of a robotic tail — a metaphor drawn from how animals communicate and express themselves non-verbally — the system reads human facial expressions in real time and uses emotion as input for a reinforcement learning reward system. Through this feedback loop, the system gradually develops its own movement language, forging a shared vocabulary between human affect and machine intelligence.
