From the airport:
Direct train connection from Airport Vienna to Linz with ÖBB (Austrian Railway Company).
There is an Airport Bus from “Airport Wien-Schwechat” to “Wien-Hauptbahnhof”.
By train:
Coming from Vienna main train station - “Wien Hauptbahnhof” or from the train station “Wien Westbahnhof” you can choose between 2 different railway companies:
Klima Ticket OÖ = only Upper Austria - (without Linz) or with Linz:
KlimaTicket OÖ Regional + Linz = only Upper Austria + Linz (inkl. Tram): € 435,- for one year, “Junior” (if you are under 26)
Klima Ticket Ö = whole Austria
Note: Klima Ticket (All public transport in Austria) is an annual pass. Unused months will be refunded on a pro-rata basis upon return of the pass.
Tram Ticket Linz - only Tram in Linz
If you are registered with your main residence in Linz or Leonding, the 6-month ticket is available for € 83,50 (€ 201,50 if you don’t live in Linz or Leonding).
You will need an Enrolment document / Studienblatt (record of studies) = Inskriptionsbestätigung (download it at the Ufg-online-system) or your student card.

Student get the student identity card which provides discounts for the public transport tickets, free entrance or discount in museums, exhibitions, shops, etc.
Wi-Fi connection is available in the university and also in many spots in the city. Access to the computers, as well the copy, scan and print options are available at the library of University of Arts Linz.
Our Library is an open stacks library, you are welcome to browse on site.
