Lecture series on visual communication with Enrico Bravi

In practice as well as in research and teaching, Senior Artist Enrico Bravi deals with a range and variety of topics ranging from typography and book design to infovisualization and cartography.

The new lecture series Viskom offers insights into current research and design practices at the Department of Visual Communication. Lecturers present their projects and creative processes, highlighting the interfaces between artistic research, design practice and critical theory. The series covers issues ranging from classical graphic design to photographic developments and generative digital applications, reflecting the development of a critical, authorial attitude in design. A particular focus is on researching the relationships between design and image and their role in current social discourses.
