Craft activities require fine motor skills, knowledge of materials and creative problem solving - people can react to unforeseen situations and act autonomously.AI is developing rapidly and can support design, planning and documentation - but its processes and results are dependent on data quality, clear tasks and responsible use. The symposium takes the core content of technology and design as a starting point to address and test the potential and problems of AI in subject teaching in the context of specific workshops. The workshops and the ARGE conference will be held for technology and design teachers at MS, AHS and BAfEP/BASOP.

The symposium AI can´t: handcrafts takes place in cooperation with the University College of Teacher Education Upper Austria, Bildungsdirektion Oberösterreich, the Berufsverband Österreichischer Kunst- und Werkpädagogik and the Department of Design and Technology of the University of Arts Linz.
