Installation, steel construction, 240 × 420 × 260 cm; paintings and screen printing, lacquer and acrylic on aluminium, marble, and granite, various dimensions; publication, 120 pages, 12.5 × 19 cm
In Wish I Was Gay, Laura Weiss shares personal experiences as a FLINTA* person from a queerfeminist perspective. The expansive steel construction enables paintings on metal and marble slabs to appear seemingly at random, like arbitrary snapshots on a mobile phone. In the publication of the same name, Weiss combines autobiographical texts with research from modern feminist literature.
