Installation Furniture, furniture fragments, screws, broken glass, sound, clothing, paraments 3 × 2.50 × 4 m
The convent of the Sisters of Mary at Mount Carmel at Seilerstätte 5 in Linz was secularized in 2022 and then sold to a real estate developer in 2024. In an interim-use project, we took the discarded furniture from the vacant premises and developed a staircase object that is formally reminiscent of a pulpit.
Laura Ecker (2000, Korneuburg) has been enrolled in the Teacher Training Programme: Art and Design, Design Tech.Tex at the University of Arts Linz since 2021.
Leonhard Neuhauser (2000, Linz) has been studying Art and Design since 2019 and Experimental Art since 2023 at the University of Arts Linz.
Lea Prähofer (1996) has been enrolled in the Teacher Training Programme: Art and Design, Design Tech.Tex at the University of Arts Linz since 2018.
Biography – Katharina Scholten (1994, Melk) has an MA in Romance Studies (MA) and has been enrolled since 2021 in the Teacher Training Programme for French at the University of Salzburg and the Teacher Training Programme: Art and Design at the University of Arts Linz.
