The finissage of the exhibition Light Injuries will open with a concert by sound artist Marta Beauchamp (musical improvisation with exhibition objects) and improvisation musician Michael Fischer (saxophone). Following the concert, the two artists will engage in a round table discussion with chronobiologist Charlotte Förster, art theorist Samet Yalçın and curator Sarah Kolb. Their conversation will explore connections such as those between the moon and stars, sunlight and artificial light, and explore the question of how the rhythms of distant celestial bodies are reflected in the temporal structures of our own bodies. A journey through music, philosophy, chronobiology and art history.
