The Department of Art History and Art Theory invites you to a guest lecture.

The guest lecture is part of the Kuratorische Praxis II (A short life of trouble II. Curating as praxis) course led by Attilia Fattori Franchini.

Can is an artist-run exhibition space located in Vienna's 3rd district. Founded in January 2023, Can occupies a plaza-level space within TownTown, an office and business complex built on the site of a former train depot.

The space is run by artists Anna-Sophie Berger and Benjamin Hirte.

As part of their lecture they will discuss why it makes the most sense for them, as artists, to show friends and acquaintances and what particular qualities this can generate.
