Experimental strappo, textile façade
Neo-Nazis spray-painted H*** H***** on the wall in my neighborhood. In response, I crossed out the graffiti with Geil Glitter. The neo-Nazi symbolism of the code 88, (8 = H, 88 = H… H…) turned into a queer-friendly 77! Using an experimental restoration technique, the crossed-out graffiti was removed from its architectural context and can now be displayed on other walls.
Catrin Manoli develops her artistic practice with a good dose of humor and the expertise of her activist practice.

The work Moving Through was shown in the exhibition BestOFF 2024 .
