The documentary criticizes the current cultural climate in Linz, or rather, the lack thereof, as well as the urban planning measures favoring cars and the economic incentives that benefit only the wealthy. This situation cannot be traced back to a lack of grassroots cultural initiatives, of which there are in fact many. Instead, it is due to a conservative local government unwilling to carry out real and sustainable change.

The collective is presenting its first filmed work. Carlotta Röll studies Architecture, Charlotta Beisenherz Cultural Studies, Merlin Großmann Media Culture and Art Theories. In addition, the latter is a member of the band “Djaro und die Anonymen Melancholiker.” The collective says of this work: “We appreciate the fact that this film is the result of collaboration between the departments. And, above all, a cooperative effort with those citizens of Linz who are committed to making the city a better place.”

The work Wånnsd wås wüst, måchs einfåch! was presented as part of the exhibition "BestOFF 2024" was shown.
