Short-term mobility for PhD students

REQUIREMENTS

• Enrollment in a regular PhD program
• Employment at the University of Art and Design Linz (less than 1.5 years)
• Nomination by the PhD Studies Administration (an email is sufficient)
• No virtual components required

DURATION OF STAY

• 5 days (mandatory)
• A leave request must be submitted for this period

INSTITUTIONS

• Partner universities of the University of Arts Linz
• If there is no agreement for the PhD program, inquire with the desired partner university if mobility is still possible.
• Online application: The link to the online tool will be provided after nomination by the PhD Administration and in coordination with the International Office (IO).

APPLICATION DOCUMENTS 

for uploading to the application tool:

• Current enrollment certificate (Studienblatt)
• Confirmation from the PhD Studies Administration
• Invitation from the Partner University  (Letter of Acceptance) including the following details: student’s name, period, destination, and contact person at the partner university
• Proofs of inclusion
• Proof of residence (Meldezettel)
• Recommendation Letter from the Dissertation Advisor
