The master programme is also open to graduates of other universities, builds on the skills acquired in the course of the bachelor programme or a comparable curriculum and prepares students for a professional career in the art sector.
The project-oriented central artistic training classes are geared to develop an independent artistic position and to evolve the students’ ability to articulate their artistic and theoretical stance. A wide range of classes in such fields as cultural studies, sociology and philosophy is offered to choose from. The master programme expressly aims at intermediality. The acquisition of competence in using digital and other visual arts media both enhances the students’ artistic expressiveness and encourages them to reflect on ceramics as an artistic medium.
